The webinar will be offered during two sessions on Thursday, October 6th. Session 1 begins at 11:30 a.m. Eastern/8:30 a.m. Pacific, with Session 2 following at 3:00 p.m. Eastern/12:00 p.m. Pacific. In the first portion of the one hour webinar, Julie O’Brien, registered nurse and vice president and COO of Alicare Medical Management will discuss the value and ROI that organizations can gain from a 24Hour Nurse HelpLine. Next, Dr. Seth Lewin will present “Applying Evidence-based Medicine” which will offer insight, understanding of and appreciation for the value and limitations of various grades or levels of evidence in the decision-making process. Dr. Lewin, Medical Director at Alicare Medical Management (AMM), has over 20 years of clinical and utilization management experience and was educated at Brooklyn College and Georgetown University School of Medicine and was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School. In addition to his work as Medical Director, he is an instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
