June 4, 2007
Seattle, WA − Adaptis, a leading provider of business process integration solutions for health payers, today announced the selection of Robert S. Hagan and Charles H. Black as Healthcare Practice Leaders. Mr. Hagan and Mr. Black will be instrumental in growing Adaptis’ current business lines as well as identifying opportunities to capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
“We are thrilled with the depth and breadth of industry experience that Bob and Chuck bring to our team,” says Teri Mullaney, Vice President of Strategic Solutions at Adaptis. “Their broad outsourcing sales and operations expertise combined with their deep knowledge of the health care payer industry will be a tremendous asset to Adaptis.”
Mr. Robert S. Hagan comes to Adaptis with nearly twenty years of experience within the healthcare industry, most recently with Perot Systems, Inc. and Emdeon Business Services where he established and cultivated relationships with major payer organizations including multiple BlueCross and BlueShield licensees. “I think the next ten years will bring tremendous change in the healthcare payer industry,” says Hagan. “Adaptis is well-positioned to capitalize on these opportunities - our clients can decide what they need to do and let us handle the details of how to get it done.” Mr. Hagan will be handling the eastern US region for Adaptis.
Mr. Charles H. Black brings more than twenty years experience with technology solutions to his new role as Practice Leader for the western US region. During his career, Black has developed consultative sales teams with a proven history of success. Most recently, Black served as Director for Business Process Outsourcing Sales for DST Health Solutions. Black’s experience also includes senior sales leadership roles with Zavata Healthcare Solutions, Dakota Imaging Inc. (subsidiary of WebMD Business Services), and IBM. “I appreciate Adaptis’ single-source, client-centric approach that allows us to offer our clients improved efficiencies and better speed-to-market when implementing new lines of business.”
Hagan and Black will be joining current Practice Leader Jeff Griffiths, who will continue to develop the central region for Adaptis. Throughout his 18 years of healthcare payer experience, Griffiths has developed a consultative approach. “I make a point of staying on top of industry trends and making these topics of discussion … to see if their plans are experiencing these pains, as well. Then I architect a solution to address those issues. The process and methodology that we have in place here (at Adaptis) ensures our success, and more importantly the success of our clients.”
