Adaptis Offshore Partner Tēla Earns ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Seattle, WA – Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing ( BPO) and related services to the health care industry, today announced that it’s offshore BPO partner, Tēla Sourcing, has achieved conversion to ISO 9001:2000 certification from AQSR International, Inc., a quality management systems registrar. The new standard, released in December 2000, is an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2000 is a process-based Quality Management System (QMS) and enables organizations to more directly link business objectives with business effectiveness.

Tēla Sourcing was launched in October 2004 as a joint venture between Adaptis and MDIndia health care Services Ltd., to provide a cost-effective and highly efficient option for claims processing and other administrative back office functions by leveraging offshore resources. Tēla is focused exclusively on the U.S. health insurance market and draws on the deep domain knowledge and industry expertise of its parent companies to help its customers determine the best outsourcing strategy, while minimizing the cultural challenges that can occur when working with offshore providers. Adaptis offers a variety of BPO options including on-shore, at the company’s regional operations center based in Yakima, WA, off shore through its joint venture with Tēla, and a variety of multi shore hybrid options.
