
Adaptis Names New Director of Compliance

Seattle, WA – Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Integration solutions for health payers, today announced that it has promoted Roya Rezai to Director of Compliance. In her new role as the Company’s Compliance Officer, Rezai assumes overarching responsibility for all of Adaptis’ compliance, privacy and information security issues.
“In her previous role as a compliance analyst Roya distinguished herself as an impassioned contributor, infusing the organization with a culture of compliance to promote education, training and regulatory oversight as every day activities, and we look forward to her broadening these efforts in her new role,” stated Adaptis Chief Executive Officer James K. Anderson.
Early in the healthcare compliance movement Rezai was chosen as the first-ever Chief Compliance Officer, for a large psychiatric hospital in Washington State. Later she was recruited as Chief of Compliance and Chief of Operations for a large, inner-city federally qualified health center on the east coast where she gained experience in primary care.
Roya Rezai is an experienced professional with broad knowledge of healthcare and a deep understanding of compliance, privacy and information security. Rezai completed the Privacy Specialty Advancement Program of American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and achieved the status of Certified Compliance Officer through the Healthcare Fraud and Abuse Compliance Institute. She is a member of AHIMA, the Health Care Compliance Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Health Information Management Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Rezai recently completed the Medicare Part D training program at the Kansas University School of Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Psychology and attended the Fielding Institute Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology.
