Seattle, WA – Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and related services to health plans, today announced a contract with a twenty (20) year administrator of health care to uniformed service families. The East-coast entity currently administers a critical component of the US Family Health Plan (USFHP) for active duty dependents, retirees, and their families residing in the Northeastern US and parts of Texas. Adaptis will provide network management, claims administration and processing, eligibility maintenance and pharmacy benefit management for those services available through the Department of Defense TRICARE benefit plan. The Adaptis customer care center will be used to give members and providers access to information regarding eligibility and claims status.
“We’re very pleased to secure this Department of Defense line of business which supports company plans to broaden the Adaptis service offering beyond government-sponsored and commercial-based plans into government benefit plans,” stated Jim Anderson, president and CEO of Adaptis. “We are honored to work with a highly respected plan administrator to help manage this line of business and to have the opportunity to provide services to our country’s military families.”
