Jim Anderson

President and Chief Executive Officer

A few words from Jim Anderson: A little about me. With 40 years of leadership and management experience, I think I can safely say I’m one of your more “seasoned” Adaptis team members. In my early years at Univac (now Unisys), I led several key projects involving pioneering computer systems for the financial industry, aerospace industries, and the military. Later I set up an outsourcing division for Computer Sciences Corporation, one of the nation’s first computer consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing companies. As CIO and then as group senior vice president of California Federal Savings and Loan, I developed a state-of-the-art information system that increased high-volume transaction efficiency. As Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of Pacific First Bank (now part of Washington Mutual), I successfully turned the institution around, from experiencing $40 million in annual losses to becoming a thriving financial institution with $40 million in profits.

Because I am surrounded by people who care as much about the community as I do, Adaptis feels like home.

While my career includes significant experience in developing technical solutions to industry problems, I have also had the rewarding opportunity to serve the community. In addition to serving on the boards of important social organizations (such as Corporate Council for the Arts, MultiCare Health System, a medical malpractice insurance company, and Whitman College), I am currently Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the IT Committee, Chairman of the Finance Committee, Chairman of the Compensation Committee, and Chairman of the captive insurance company at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center. I also serve on the Washington State Hospital Association Board of Trustees and the Washington State Hospital Governing Boards Committee. Finally, I serve as Vice Chairman of Everlast Worldwide, a public company headquartered in New York City, NY.

Because I am surrounded by people who care as much about the community as I do, Adaptis feels like home. I’m fortunate to be in a position to lead such an incredible group of professionals and I’m proud to introduce them to you here.
